The Samsung Galaxy A04s is the successor to the Galaxy A03s . Just like its predecessor, it has a 6.5 inch screen with a relatively low resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels. New is the higher refresh rate of 90Hz, which makes the image look smoother than before. It is an LCD display. The black values ​​and contrast are therefore less good than on smartphones with an OLED screen. However, they are usually also a lot more expensive.

The device runs on Samsung's own Exynos 850 processor. It is already a few years old and you should therefore not expect miracles from it. Simple tasks such as apps and browsing are good for it, but it quickly starts to prance when you present it with heavy games. Samsung adds 3GB of RAM and only 32GB of storage space. That is very meager and reveals that this device is really only intended for people who have few requirements for their smartphone.

50 megapixel camera, large battery

On the back of the Galaxy A04s you will find a new 50 megapixel camera. The A03s still had to make do with 13 megapixels. In addition, there are a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor on the device. Nice for the statistics, but in practice they are hardly useful. You shoot selfies in a modest resolution of 5 megapixels.
