The ASRock Z390M Pro4 has many features that will make your system better and faster.
Everything else is built on the Dual Channel DDR4 memory. The M.2 slot supports both the M.2 interface SATA3 6Gb / s and the Ultra M.2 interface with PCIe Gen3 x4 connection. The PCIe Gen3 x4 connection drives the data transfer rates up to 32 GB / s and is compatible with the U.2 kit from ASROCK. Some of the fastest U.2 SSDs can be operated with PCIe Gen3-x4. At the same time, this can be increased because M.2 is also supported with Type 22110.
And that was not all. The ASRock Intel® 4-Layer Memory POOL technology doesn't throw you into cold water. The Planes On Outer Layers enable 4-layer boards to use stripline routing instead of conventional micro-strip routing. This significantly increases the electrical properties and improves performance.
The Z390M Pro4 also supports 10-bit playback via HEVC. So you get a much better picture quality and higher bit depth.
